Overall, I was disappointed with this place, and do not believe it is "top 25 in the world" and definitely not worth the queue time for a table. The staff were otherwise friendly, and the decor of the cafe is lovely. The manager did take off the cost of the eggs royal and fruit, which was kind of him, but reasonable under the circumstances. The fruit came out, but unfortunately this was tasteless and not ripe. I asked for a fruit salad (as I figured they cannot get that wrong). He immediately offered me something else. I explained that I did not like the food and explained why. When I asked for the bill, the manager saw that I hadn't eaten much and so asked if everything was okay. The coffee was also slightly cold (although still drinkable). I was not at all impressed with the Eggs Royal, the eggs were overdone, spinach watery, the whole plate lacked flavour and all in all, not what I would expect from "top 25 in the world". My order for Eggs Royal came out almost immediately (suggesting that probably it was pre-prepared) and I had to wait a couple of minutes for my coffee and juice. I ordered the Eggs Royal, Cappuccino and Orange. Seafood Restaurants for Special Occasions in District V / Inner CityĪfter waiting nearly 30 minutes for a table (which was expected bearing in mind the popularity of this place), I sat down excited at the prospect of eating at "top 25 place for breakfast in the world".District VII / Jewish Quarter Restaurants.Restaurants with Outdoor Seating in Budapest.Restaurants for Special Occasions in Budapest.Restaurants for Group Dining in Budapest.Steakhouses for Large Groups in Budapest.Spanish Restaurants for Special Occasions in Budapest.Middle Eastern Restaurants for Families in Budapest.Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika) ![]()
