Its double-thick adhesive and reinforced backing make it capable of bonding heavier items. Gorilla Double Sided Tape is designed to provide a strong and permanent bond, making it ideal for rough or uneven surfaces. As opposed to that, 3M Double Sided Tape is available in a variety of thicknesses, ranging from thin to thick. The thickness of the adhesive can add unwanted bulk to the surface being bonded. Gorilla Double Sided Tape may not be suitable for applications requiring thin tapes because of its thickness. Although both brands offer high-quality products, price differences may be a deciding factor for some customers. Gorilla Double Sided Tape is less expensive than 3M Double Sided Tape. While both tapes are designed to provide a strong and durable bond, there are some differences between them. Gorilla Double Sided Tape and 3M Double Sided Tape are two of the most popular and high-quality adhesive tapes on the market. Gorilla Tape Comparison Between Gorilla Double Sided Tape And 3M Double Sided Tape In addition to its durability, this tape is suitable for use in harsh environments or applications that require a long-lasting bond. With so many options, users can find a tape that meets their specific needs. 3M’s products are known for their durability, strength, and long-lasting quality.ģM Double Sided Tape offers a wide range of customization options. Users can choose from a wide variety of adhesives, backing materials, and thicknesses to meet their specific needs. Duct Tape Overview of 3M Double Sided TapeģM also offers a range of double-sided tapes that are designed for a variety of applications. Due to its waterproof nature, this tape can also be used in wet environments without losing its adhesive properties. Among the surfaces it can be used on are wood, metal, plastic, and more. Because it has a double-thick adhesive and a reinforced backing, it can be used on rough or uneven surfaces. Gorilla Double Sided Tape is a heavy-duty tape that is designed to provide a strong and permanent bond.

After the pizza this was exactly what we needed. A simple dish made with olives, sundried tomatoes along with spaghetti topped with parmesan cheese and garlic bread on the side. Lastly, we had the Spaghetti Aglio Oglio. The pizza was delicious, but the peri peri paneer took it to the next level. The peri peri paneer was so potent that it will blow your minds off, you can feel the peppers working on your lips and mouth giving a slight ting. This pizza is topped with pineapple, jalapenos and peri peri paneer. If you like something ultra spicy then go for the Hawaian Peri Peri Paneer Pizza. The Cheese Palak Kurkure is a mixture of Spinach and cheese in nuggets format topped with papad bits. Loved it, as it had the right spice level to blend with the drinks. The tandoori mushrooms were filled with paneer and had a spicy marination. We started with the Tandoori Kumbh and the Cheese Palak Kurkure. When it comes to food you can taste some Indian, Italian and Chinese food here. This drink is made with Tamarind and is supposed to cut down on the alcohol level. We were feeling a bit tipsy by then, therefore, we were introduced with Better Hangover. Last but not the least, Rashid also made a new creation with the use of applewood smoke (check the video below). The white Sangria is made with Lemongrass and orange. If you like coffee with a sweet touch this one is for you. The Haalappa is made with coffee and the garnish was of cloves and star anise. Next, we had the Cheers Haalappa and the White Sangria. The Cosmo on the other hand was made in cranberry juice with pomegranate seeds. A unique blend and an extraordinary presentation. The Tight Tiger is a special mixture of 7 liquors poured over exotic fruits like grapes, orange, apple, pineapple, olives, cherry and pomegranate. We tried the Tight Tiger and the Cosmopolitan. *I have re-written this review as the first I posted too quickly and I wanted to be fair and re-write it.The cocktails are curated by Rashid, one of the top mixologist of Bangalore. Overall, I was disappointed with this place, and do not believe it is "top 25 in the world" and definitely not worth the queue time for a table. The staff were otherwise friendly, and the decor of the cafe is lovely. The manager did take off the cost of the eggs royal and fruit, which was kind of him, but reasonable under the circumstances. The fruit came out, but unfortunately this was tasteless and not ripe. I asked for a fruit salad (as I figured they cannot get that wrong). He immediately offered me something else. I explained that I did not like the food and explained why. When I asked for the bill, the manager saw that I hadn't eaten much and so asked if everything was okay. The coffee was also slightly cold (although still drinkable). I was not at all impressed with the Eggs Royal, the eggs were overdone, spinach watery, the whole plate lacked flavour and all in all, not what I would expect from "top 25 in the world". My order for Eggs Royal came out almost immediately (suggesting that probably it was pre-prepared) and I had to wait a couple of minutes for my coffee and juice. I ordered the Eggs Royal, Cappuccino and Orange. It's as if they expected only die-hard fans of the book to even play the game.and then failed to give them a reason to want to.In the early summer of 1997, my wife and I went round for lunch to Douglas and Jane's in Islington, and within minutes of arriving Douglas said, "Quick, come upstairs! There's something I want to show you!" With all the infectious enthusiasm and fervour which everyone so loved in Douglas, he bounded up to a room at the top of the house, followed - somewhat less energetically - by me. I'm sure fans will be interested-especially since Douglas Adams co-wrote it and it does contain healthy doses of his humor-but it just isn't much fun as a game. I can't help but wonder if ANYBODY figured that out without referring to the hints. There is a point at the very beginning where you have to specifically type, "Ford, what about my home?" in order to advance. Secondly, some parts were insanely difficult. At least this time they got to read it on a computer screen, I guess. That sequence of events should sound strikingly familiar to anyone who has read the novel. Just like the book, you lie down in front of the bulldozer, join your friend Ford Prefect at the pub, catch a ride on a Vogon ship, grab a Babel fish, then hop on board the Heart of Gold. You play Arthur Dent, who wakes up to see a bulldozer outside his bedroom window. First, it followed too closely to the book, meaning that if you had read the book you weren't in for many surprises. Unfortunately "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" was notable for entirely the wrong reasons. So here goes: The Zork games set the standard for text-based adventure games (I can't bring myself to call them "video" games), and there were plenty of other notable entries in the genre, such as "The Leather Goddesses of Phobos". H2G2 would be the perfect game.Ī twenty-year old computer game-what's the point of this review? Probably none, but with the new movie coming out, there's a chance some fans will be interested in tracking down a copy of this game. There could be a future for text adventures using a speak/reply device no keyboard, no screen. A fun way to treat text adventures today is to try using a speech recognition program such as Via Voice &c. It can also be downloaded and played using an emulator. The game is still available to play online. And the graphic adventure, 'Starship Titanic' is beautiful to look at and awful to play! H2G2 was written for many platforms. Sadly I never got on with the other Douglas Adams' adventure 'Bureaucracy'. With the help of friends, the game was completed after a few months. When I played the game in the late 80s, I didn't know where to get help with the puzzles. Douglas Adams has said that this was the version of H2G2 that turned out most closely as intended. The program is well written and allows much variation. Other reviewers claim that progress is only made when 'exact' phrases are used. There were some little problems: 'Lay down/Lie down' produced different results. Its understanding of language was the best I have encountered. Having played quite a few text adventures, H2G2 stood out as the most user friendly. The only way to report an issue with Google voice was to use their support forum. After looking around for close to half an hour I realized there wasn’t any way to directly get a hold of Google. I went searching through the Google voice support page to try to find an email address or phone number where I could get a hold of a Google voice rep. It took a few minutes for the initial shock to ware off, I reassured myself that it must be a simple mix-up and a quick phone call to Google Support would straighten everything out. How To Let Google Know They Lost My Number This sign is printed on our front door with the same number: Well it happened, and just as I had about ten thousand business cards delivered with that number on them: Any time I read about some ones Google account being closed, or losing their Google docs data I dismissed it as something that could never happen. But I was so dreamy eyed about Google that I didn’t take the proper precautions. I read the warnings about not putting all of your eggs in one basket. This is what I was now seeing in my Google Voice panel: The main number would give callers a dead signal, and was no longer being shown within my Google Voice account. My ported number was then randomly changed to (619) 356-1170 on August 12th. I ported my main business line (414) 202-6605 over from Sprint to Google Voice on May 21st. However logging in around 5pm the number had suddenly vanished and changed to another number without any notice. I was able to log into Google Voice and check my messages at around 1pm that day. Google Voice lost my number August 12th, 2012, at around 5pm central time. My Story of When Google Voice Lost My Number The project originated within the Novosibirsk company Technograd Plus. Within the Sber ecosystem, 2GIS took over the development of tools for integration of its maps and directories into applications of the ecosystem and third-party companies. Kennedy All Images Courtesy of Sarah Rose Sharp The piece is funny, sentimental, and serious all at once, maintaining a light touch with its potentially problematic content- garbage-strewn, run down neighborhoods, excesses of objects that have outlived their owners and practical usefulness, death itself.Īccompanying “Totems” and “Semi Lucid Steaks” are a playful, sensual floral installation by Lisa Waud, the magical mind behind Hamtramck’s Flower House project, and a light installation by Patrick Ethan, who is also currently exhibiting at Playground Detroit.Ĭharles & Valerie Diker (left) – TMA Director Brian P. Once identified, these piles of distinction are transformed by yet another machine (the documentary film is taken from the machine’s point of view, so only its powerful front incisors are seen- it stacks old tires and charred furniture into imposing piles to an oddly perfect Bach soundtrack) into vertical plinths of stacked garbage assembled in honor of their original owner, “recently deceased friend and neighbor,” in hopes of attracting permanent protection to the vicinity, as well as honoring the inherent power individuals leave behind with their earthly belongings. Mitch Cope, Garbage Totem Scrap-a-House, 2014, C-Print, 30 x 46 Inches While Perron demurs to embrace such New-Age association, as a native Californian, I am entirely comfortable characterizing this group show as deeply cosmic. Perron declares that she had never seen the “Pillars of Creation” before I mentioned it, and the face that a reasonable facsimile has manifested within the CCS Center Galleries seems to me evidence of a higher order in the universe. That this serendipitous combination of very different artists has created such lovely celestial synchronicity seems appropriate, given the show’s theme. Harty’s full-wall installation draws the whole exhibit together, bringing the show into bloom. “Normally you could not get me anywhere near it,” she said. When Harty came on as head of CCS’s glass department, Perron found a previously untapped appreciation for glass as a medium. “The exhibit began with a longstanding interest in Assunta Sera’s paintings, since the 1980s, when I worked at the Michigan Gallery.” An encounter with Sera at a recent CCS grad event triggered a conversation that built into the seed for a show, and a studio visit to review Sestok’s newest “fantastic” body of work brought that seed into sprout. “I didn’t start out trying to make a pretty show,” says CCS curator Michelle Perron, in an interview at the Cass Cafe. Robert Sestok, Anodized Aluminum Sculpture – installation view Using anodized aluminum gives a refined, gold cast to Sestok’s sculptures, more usually roughly rendered in crude iron scrap material, and creates a sense of weightlessness around the crumpled aluminum pillars-large-scale balls of metal stacked into well-balanced totem poles. These groups of (mostly) hanging pieces provide a lovely backdrop to four freestanding sculptural works by Detroit’s own Robert Sestok, which take pride of position in the center of the gallery. Works by New York-based painter Assunta Sera draw directly from celestial events to create abstracted landscapes-or more accurately ‘spacescapes?’-and a full wall installation of spills of glass by Kim Harty touches down onto the floor, unavoidably suggesting the Milky Way, by association. Cosmologies, Installation view – All Images Courtesy of Sarah Rose SharpĪesthetically, the three-person show Cosmologies, which opened at the CCS Center Galleries on January 23 rd and runs through the 27 th of this month, reminds me very much of a Hubble telescope picture series of a formation called formation called Pillars of Creation in the Eagle Nebula-a star-forming region. |
